All volunteers who work with youth or vulnerable adults, in any role for any amount of time, are required to meet the mandatory Safe Environment requirements of the Newark Archdiocese. These requirements are as follows:
- Completion of a volunteer application which includes the Archdiocesan Code of Ethics
- Completion of a criminal background check
- Attendance at a Protecting God’s Children Workshop for Adults
These requirements must be met prior to your volunteer service. If you have questions or concerns about this process you can contact the parish Safe Environment Coordinator.
