If you receive an email that appears to be from Fr. Ron or any staff member asking you to take some kind of unusual action (click a link or download an attachment you didn’t request, wire money to a specified account, purchase gift cards and reply with the serial numbers, or simply to reply quickly), DO NOT RESPOND OR ENGAGE THE SENDER.

The MOMs group is a dynamic and diverse group of new and experienced mothers who share a commitment to making Christ the center of their family’s lives. They do this by supporting, praying, sharing and learning from each other. MOMs generally meet on the first Wednesday morning of each month. If you would like to see what MOMs is all about, please be our guest. You do not need to be a member to attend these meetings. So many moms over the years have gotten more involved in the life of the parish by first coming to MOMs. The monthly meetings usually feature a guest speaker with a lively question, comments and discussion period following the presentation. Meetings also always begin in prayer for our needs and those of our family and friends and the wider community. Childcare is available.

Other opportunities include:

  • Journal Group: An eight session journey of following a booklet just for mothers where we can take a step back and think about our role as moms. Gathering at the weekly meeting offers us the time to share with other MOMs in an intimate setting Those that sign up for journal make both instant and long lasting friendships. Each setting lasts between 1 1/2 - 2 hours.
  • Nurturing Place (Jersey City, NJ): MOMs supports and coordinates donations for this very important child development center and transitional housing program for mothers in need. Fundraisers are also held throughout the year. Advent dinner/Ash Wednesday Meatless dinner: MOMs members coordinate these meals held in the parish center to share with other parishioners and their families during the seasons of Advent and Lent. These are great community building events for the whole family.
  • Social groups: These groups include tennis, book club, reservation club, and playgroups. Spiritual activities: MOMs coordinate circle of care (support for members including meals or childcare), rosary group, prayer chains, MOMs mass, and a women’s retreat night.
